April 16, 2018

Fighting Today…Focused on the Future!

This morning, the Company and Union met and reached a tentative agreement on Appendix A11 (NonManagement Staffing Process).

The Company passed proposals on Article 8 (Collective Bargaining Procedures), Article 23 (Vacations) and Article 25 (Temporary Assignments). Tentative agreements were reached on these passes in the afternoon session.

This afternoon, tentative agreements were also reached on letters regarding Carry Over Vacation and Internet Access. The company also passed proposals on Appendix A34 (Payment in Lieu of Vacation) and a letter covering Voluntary Extended Absence.

Late this evening a tentative agreement was reached on a letter regarding Voluntary Extended Absence and the Company passed several additional proposals on Article 26 (Training and Employment Security), Appendix A29 (Pooled Titles for Surplus) and Appendix F.

AT$T has, so far, rejected every proposal that the Union has given to enhance job security or eliminate/improve appendices.

YOUR ACTIONS in the field are being heard. Keep up the mobilization and we will keep fighting at the table!!
